I Have A Confession to Make...

Believe it or not, it's true...I only watch American Idol during the first few weeks!! Ok, I know, left up to true blue A.I. fans and I would be put in front of a firing squad blindfolded with a cigarette nervously hanging between my lips but it's painfully true...the original thrill is gone! So, how does one know when they've lost that lovin' feelin' for good ole A.I.? A few reasons are listed below...

You don't watch American Idol as religiously as you did when it first came out...

You only watch American Idol during the first few weeks to laugh at the losers who really think they can sing...

You watch American Idol during the first few weeks to listen to Simon's vicious rants... (insert British accent here) "My advice would be if you want to pursue a career in the music business, don't!"

You've watched American Idol during the first few weeks and have had one if not all of the following thoughts,
"Is he/she really serious?"
"Someone must have dared them to audition"
"That fool is just trying to get his/her 15 seconds of fame...at any cost"

You secretly or not so secretly tune back in during the last 4 weeks of the competition to watch the truly talented do their thing...

So, let it be known, if any of the above reasons apply to you, you are also no longer and American Idol junkie!
